I guide you into a gentle and soft yoga flow, bringing loving awareness into your whomb, creating a comfortable and safe home for your baby.

Together we create a small intimate community of pregnant women in Ericeira. The classes are taught at the studio of Surf Yoga Portugal.

Can I practice yoga while pregnant?
Yes you can but you need to avoid certain postures (like twists, backbends, etc) and just focus on what benefits you at this stage of your life. In your pregnancy your most important job is to rest. You are creating new life within you, that is something bigger then you can ever possibly create. This is why in these 9 months you prevent to get really tired, so take it always easy in class and adapt to what feels possible for you today. Your body goes through a lot of transformation and change, so every time is different. But we do want to stay strong and connected, letting our life energy circulate and prevent discomforts in the body.
How many times per week can I practice yoga when I am pregnant?
It’s recommended to practice yoga 2 – 3 times per week.
In which trimester of my pregnancy can I start to practice yoga?
In the first trimester of your pregnancy, you have to stay extra calm as the embryo is still nestling within you and its fragile. Focus on meditation and walking. After the first trimester and everything is well and the embryo formed into a foetus, you can build up your practice again.
